Purpose

To return an integer argument as text.

Syntax

CHARACTER (LEN=*) FUNCTION SAYINT(I)
INTEGER (KIND=3) I

Description

As an example, the value I=-270 would return the character value 'MINUS TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY'.
